Kansei Double flanged Centric design Bi-directional butterfly valves are designed to accommodate a wide range of flange drillings. Each size valve flange has been designed to have the maximum outside diameter and maximum thickness of the nominated flange standards.

The valve face to face in accordance with BS 5155 Short, ISO 5752 Table 4, EN-593 and
AWWA C-504.
The Replaceable Seat design meets the requirements of seat replaceability on field and solves the problem of internal protection of the valve body as the seat encapsulates the wetted area. The seat is of a molded construction and fits easily into the body which also provides superior corrosion protection. The Seat covers the entire interior of the valve body and extending onto the grooved flange faces which provides flange sealing and eliminating the need for gaskets. The Seat has a peripheral band which seats in a bed-groove pocket in the body to hold the seat securely in place when the disc is closing and attempting to move from seating surface.
Upper and Lower shaft bearings prevent shaft deflection and provide optimum guidance to increase the valve life. Primary shaft sealing by pre-loaded contact between seat flat surface which completed isolates the shaft and body from the flow stream.
The Disc hub-edge profile is spherically machined and rounded manually with polishing to provide full concentric seating without obstruction to flow which gives maximum seat life, minimum torque and bubble tight shut-off. Disc-Screw connection with disc is positive, shake proof, stronger and allows quick and easy disassembly.
