Design, Manufacturing and Testing Standards – Technology at a Glance
Kansei Ball valves are designed and manufactured as per ASME/ANSI B16.34, API 6D, BS 5351
& ISO 17292. These standards cover Pressure-Temperature ratings, Minimum shell thickness and bore
diameter for each size/class. Cumulative features of all models are as per below.
- Testing standard as per API 598 or ISO 5208 or BS 6755 Part I or BS EN 12266-I. Another applicable standard on request.
- Fire safe & Anti-static design, Cantilever seat as per customer requirement.
- Vented ball to prevent possible damage to seat and Spring energized stem assembly to compensate
wear & temperature changes.
- Blow-out proof shouldered stem, Anti-static device, Secondary metal Fire-safe seat if required.
- Precise machined and mirror-smooth finished balls to increase the performance of valve.
- Low operating torque, Leak tight stem sealing.
- Appropriate tightening of valve body and adaptor to maintain torque with extreme piping loads.
- Actuator mounting pad as per ISO 5211 in Metric / UNC.
- Lock out – Tag out locking device arrangement as per customer requirement.
- Seat material PTFE / Carbon R’PTFE / CFT / GFT as per customer requirement.
- Certificate EN 10204 Type 3.1 as standard & Manufacturing under Quality system ISO 9001: 2015.
- Casting inspection as per MSS-SP-55 as standard. Another applicable standard on request.
- Trims available with combination of various Casting material like WCB/ CF8/ CF8M/ CF3M/ GR. 4A-5A/ NAB etc. and Seat Material like PTFE / RTFE / GFT / CFT / DEVLON / PEEK etc
- 100% factory tested (Hydro, Pneumatic) and Inspected valves as per standard.
- Lever / Extended Stem / Gear / Pneumatic / Electric Operation as per customer requirement.
